    On Wednesday August 13th 2014, the Red Lake Conservation Enforcement Department, along with the Red Lake Police Department held their 2nd Annual "COPS AND BOBBERS" fishing event at Fullers Lake from 11 AM until 2 PM.     BEMIDJI -- A man from Richfield has plead guilty to charges in an attempted meth trafficking case. Alex "Sparky" Dejesus-Zuniga, 18, plead guilty to felony first-degree conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and giving a peace officer a false name on Aug. 11 in Beltrami County Court. Dejesus-Zuniga was arrested in May with two other individuals while transporting 43 grams of methamphetamine in a Jeep headed from the Twin Cities to the Red Lake Indian Reservation.     BEMIDJI -- A Bemidji man who was arrested with a large amount of marijuana, firearms and methamphetamine in November was sentenced to 8 years in prison. Barry Lee Jacobson, 46, was convicted Aug. 11 in Beltrami County Court of one count of felony first-degree drug sale and one count of felony weapon possession.
