    RED LAKE - The Gitigaanike Veggie Stand opened for business on August 3rd and 4th, 2017, at both the Red Lake Government Center and next to the Red Lake Trading Post. The stand, sponsored by 4-Directions Development, did very well and featured locally grown, organic carrots, green bell peppers, tomatoes, cabbage, onions, zucchini, kale and garlic.     The shooting death of a 25-year-old man during a parking lot party in north Minneapolis over the weekend has shaken residents and called new attention to the raucous after-hours gatherings. Shane Webb was killed when two groups confronted each other in the parking lot in the 1100 block of W.
