    CASS LAKE—A Cass Lake woman arrested for possession of narcotics in April received a two-week jail sentence Monday in Cass County District Court. Terri Frazer, 54, was granted a stay of adjudication for a felony fifth-degree drug possession charge and sentenced to 14 days local confinement in the Cass County Jail. Frazer has been placed on five years supervised probation. Successful completion of probation will result in a dismissal of the charge.     A double shooting in north Minneapolis early Thursday left one man dead and another seriously wounded. Minneapolis police responded to a report of shooting on the 2300 block of Thomas Avenue N., shortly after 2:30 a.m., authorities said.     Rep. Dan Schoen, a cosponsor of last year’s medical marijuana bill, said Tuesday he will become a consultant for LeafLine Labs, one of two cannabis companies in the state.     Gov. Jerry Brown has signed a bill into law that extends the successfully implemented separate teaching credential for Native American languages passed in 2008 to include Native American culture. The bill, AB 163, which was introduced by Assemblyman Das Williams (D-Carpinteria) and supported by the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians, was signed into law on Monday.
