BEMIDJI -- The case against a Bemidji woman accused of burglary in September was dismissed last week after a judge found a lack of sufficient probable cause. Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan has called for the state education board to investigate accusations of systemic corruption in the Prince George’s County Public Schools system. BEMIDJI -- In a reversal of its May decision, the city of Bemidji has opted to open both of its municipal liquor stores on Sundays, starting July 2. According to Bemidji City Manager Nate Mathews, the decision came Tuesday after he learned from a council member and a business owner that other liquor stores in the area would be open Sundays, starting next week. Joshua Grover is set to helm Cass Lake-Bena Elementary School next year after a unanimous school board vote on Monday.
