    On Monday, June 1, 2015 a Groud Breaking Ceremony and Ground Blessing was held for the new Redby Community Center, which is scheduled to be completed in about a year. The site for the new Center is on Ogema Avenue, which is on the old Mill Road, east of Red Lake Forest Products. This area was once where the old Red Lake Cedar Craft building stood.   • White Earth to hold public hearing on Sandpiper Pipeline

    WHITE EARTH -- The White Earth Nation plans a public hearing Thursday on the proposed Sandpiper Pipeline that will carry oil through the area. The public hearing is set for 5 p.m. at the Rice Lake Community Center, a release said.     On Thursday, April 23, 2015, the Red Lake Girls Softball Team hosted Nevis in a game that was originally scheduled for April 7, 2015, but had to be postponed due to the weather.
