The 10th Annual Red Lake Nation Youth Leadership Conference began on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 and will run through Friday, May 1, 2015, at Red Lake High School in Red Lake Minnesota. On Thursday, April 23, 2015, the Red Lake Girls Softball Team hosted Nevis in a game that was originally scheduled for April 7, 2015, but had to be postponed due to the weather. The girls led at one point 10-7, but a strong comeback by Nevis gave them the victory, 22-11. Red Lake's JV Girls Softball Team also lost to Nevis. Two men have been arrested in connection with the death of 90-year-old Earl Olander, who was found bound and beaten in his ransacked San Francisco Township farmhouse on April 11, the Carver County Sheriff’s Department said Tuesday.
