BEMIDJI—A Bemidji man who stole more than $200,000 from his former employer will spend three years and six months in prison. Thomas Kaplan, 61, was charged in 2015 with one count of theft by swindle. (AP) — The state Department of Education released a report recommending New Jersey teenagers start school later in the morning, but also found start times should be set by local districts to avoid a logistical nightmare.
