The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office of Emergency Management would like to inform Beltrami County residents and visitors that routine outdoor warning siren testing will resume for the season beginning on April 1st, 2015. Outdoor warning sirens are tested the first Wednesday of the month at approximately 1:00PM April through October to ensure they are working properly. Bemidji, MN- The RL 8th grade boys and girls teams took part in this year’s tournament. The girls tipped off Friday night against Bemidji and were not able to overcome a slow 12-0 start but once they got warmed up they played well and fell by 14. The Bemidji School Board in a special meeting on Monday approved the sale of Deer Lake Elementary and then minutes later approved a purchase agreement for land upon which the district’s new fourth- and fifth-grade elementary school will be constructed.
