BEMIDJI -- The Department of Natural Resources is investigating the deaths of two bull elk that were illegally shot and killed near Grygla, Minn. Part of Minnesota's smallest elk herd, the elk were killed in an area that has been closed to hunting since 2012. A Minnesota National Guardsman has been charged with enticing a 14-year-old girl to send nude photos of herself via the Internet to him in Afghanistan and having sexually explicit communication with dozens of other teens over social media.
