Speed limit increases on several northwest Minnesota highways

BEMIDJI, Minn. – The speed limits on several highways in northwest Minnesota increased from 55 to 60 miles per hour beginning February 1, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. BAUDETTE, Minn. -- Investigators have released the name of a Baudette man who was fatally hit by a car while he was kneeling in the middle of the road last weekend near Lake of the Woods.
