    The RLES National Elementary Honor Society held a bake sale during parent teacher conferences last week. They sold many yummy cupcakes, cookies, cake-pops, and assorted sweet treats to raise money for a "Buddy Bench" to be included on RLES playgrounds. A "Buddy Bench" is a designated spot for a student to sit when they are looking for a friend to play with at recess or have a problem to solve. The NEHS raised $500.25 at the bake sale.
